Canal d’ amour or the “Channel of Love” is situated between the villages Sidari and Peroulades on the northern of the island. Also known as “Channel of Love” is the most special beach on the island. The name Channel of Love comes from the tradition that all couples swimming there remain in love forever.

In fact, Canal d’ amour is an opening. The corrosive effect of the water and the air above the cliff of sandstone created this amazing opening. But each year the continuous effects of the elements of nature change the natural environment. As a result, in some parts is the creation of canals with turquoise waters. In other parts, beautiful small caves and bights have been formed.
Every summer thousands of tourists visit Canal d’ amour. It’s really a very crowded place, therefore, it is wise to get there early in the morning in order to find some space. The formed beach is small. For this reason, you will find many bathers place their towels on the rocks on the right and the left sides of the beach.
